The comforter is very soft and sherpa-lined, which makes it warm even when the heater isn't on. It also looks and feels like it should be simple enough to clean if/when needed. Also, just a simple word of advice, make sure to spread it out and air out a little bit before using it the first time.

**Q: So, does this piece go on top of the table in between the legs and the table top? Or is this the piece that goes on the floor and everyone sits on it?**
A: This goes between the legs and the table top. You won’t want anything on top of the table top. This is not the floor quilt or pad for everyone to sit on. I would include a picture but my kotatsu is put away for the summer right now.

Great comfortable comforter for a kotatsu table. Plenty of edge comforter to cover yourself with and seems to easy enough to wipe off if spilled on. The comforter is very thick and fluffy as well.
