The flame starts very strong and hot. It is very pretty. After an hour, the flame is less warm and less strong- a nice medium flame. It continues to throw off less heat for approximately 3 hrs., not much longer. It ran me in price the same as previous brand, but the other brand had a more predictable flame. It remained more even throughout the burn time. Still worked well and I didn’t have to drag it home.
