**Q: Does this come with the intake and outlet bits for inside the pool**
A: Yes comes complete

**Q: How long in a day do u have this on please**
A: 4hrs at the moment and in the summer time 6-8 hrs/ day

**Q: Does it come with one filter?**
A: Yes

**Q: has anyone tried it with a paddling pool, ie with no connector in and out of the pool, but instead leaving the in and out pipes "loose" in the pool?**
A: I have tried this and it does work. Ensure the outlet pipe (to the pump) has a gauze/net over the end (zip-tied or taped) and this will reduce large debris getting to the filter. Also ensue the outlet pipe doesn’t come out of the water - else you’ll need to re-prime. You will need to prime the pump using the daisy screw on the top to bleed the air out, or if that doesn’t work then pour water down the outlet tube until the tube is full (using the daisy screw), then quickly put the tube in the pool water. The pump (like many) doesn’t like pumping uphill - even if there is a downhill. 

This pump is powerful. I use it to pump pool
Water through 4 x solar mats - and although there is a reduced flow there are no problems.
