This mat is perfect: the 10mm foam does a fantastic cushioning job, really useful for protecting joints and pressure points. The length of the mat is more than adequate, although I am a bit of a short-arse (5'9") so if you are a proper height then you might need one that is slightly longer. The backing of the mat is reasonably grippy and doesn't move around a lot, unless you put it on a surface like carpet. The mat rolls up easy enough for storage and moving around, but it does take a while for the curl to come out of the mat so I'd leave it flat for a while once purchased. Review: Lovely yoga mat! - It’s a soft material and it has some thickness to it, so you don’t hurt during the exercises. At the same time, it’s not super thick that you lose your balance. It’s very practical and easily stored. Good price point. It does what it’s supposed to do! 5/5 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Mat. *by S***G on 26 August 2016* Product arrived in not one, but two boxes with tons of protective packaging so there was no chance that the soft foam item could be damaged in transit. :) The mat itself is around 1cm thick which is ideal for Yoga as anything thicker could play havoc with any possible balancing manoeuvres. The product is made of relatively durable soft foam and it extremely tactile, so your feet and hands are in no danger of slipping as they can do on some mats. I'm 6'3 and the mat is a lot shorter than me but in fairness I knew this when I brought it.
