These are light, very durable and sharp! I run a salon and see anywhere from 5-10 dogs a day and I was very impressed at these shears. I honestly didn’t think I’d get much for $40 and man I was wrong! I almost prefer these over my kenchii Japanese steel shears. The straights are okay, but the curves and thinning shears are perfect! I usually end up using these daily, the curves have been great for just about anywhere on the dog. The thinning shears blend flawlessly and give all my grooms that nice finishing touch. I highly recommend these for anyone, especially skeptic professional groomers. I was pretty skeptic at first, but like I said...I was wrong. These shears are amazing! You really won’t be sorry, give them a try and see what they can do. I’m so glad that I did! They work just as good as the other expensive brands that you see! They are lightweight and very smooth. I also have Kenchii Scorpions but I would rather use these since they are not as heavy. The purple are matte btw.
