It would be used on cotton vests for costumes....** A: I have used this on a pair of faux leather boots. The calf section was too big for my daughter. We cut a section out of the back, placed eyelets and placed them up. Turned out cute. We also made a corset. Only issue is the cutter discharge would become plugged. Resolved by removing with a safety pin. This is the absolute best eyelet punch applicator I have ever had the pleasure of using. I have fought with the cheaper ones. Not worth the fight.
