The Blooming Bath Poppy has a new design and is a great alternative to our Blooming Bath Lotus. The main differences between the Lotus and the Poppy are (1) the Poppy uses a stiffer foam that is half as thick as the Lotus and Original Blooming Bath, (2) the bottom fabric has traction dots, so it stays put in the sink, and (3) the petals are webbed so that they stay in place for good safe sink coverage. The Poppy incorporates the same soft and plush fabric used on the Original Blooming Bath Flower and the Blooming Bath Lotus that keep your baby warm and comfortable for a fun and enjoyable bath time. The Blooming Bath Poppy creates a cheerful and practical bath time experience. Plug the sink drain, insert the Blooming Bath, and pool water to desired level and temperature. The sink has worked since birth but she outgrew the newborn tub and it was an awkward fit. This flower will allow me to keep going in the sink for a little longer. Only downside is there isnt really a way to “ drain” it while babys in it. So it will either hold the water you fill it with OR be positioned in a way that it constantly drains (which is how I do it). It drains slow enough that she never seems cold or uncomfortable but for any kind of soaking bath I use a tub instead of the flower. Oh and you have to dry it right away. We have a spot under hot air that dries it quick otherwise I would worry about mold. But other than that love it! Good quality and price.

Love this thing! Its so cute. Was exactly what I was looking for to bath our 4 mo old. The sink has worked since birth but she outgrew the newborn tub and it was an awkward fit. This flower will allow me to keep going in the sink for a little longer. Only downside is there isnt really a way to “ drain” it while babys in it. So it will either hold the water you fill it with OR be positioned in a way that it constantly drains (which is how I do it). It drains slow enough that she never seems cold or uncomfortable but for any kind of soaking bath I use a tub instead of the flower. Oh and you have to dry it right away. We have a spot under hot air that dries it quick otherwise I would worry about mold. But other than that love it! Good quality and price.

My little one is now 3 months old and I have been using this in the sink since he was a newborn and we still love it. Nice thick cushion that supports the neck when using in a small sink and once they get a little bigger you can put it in a larger sink and use as a no slip pad for the bottom. Definitely recommend.
