Dura heat electric forced air, euh1500, 5,120 BTU output. Built-In turbo fan and tubular cabinet. Automatic thermostat and overheat shut off. Fan only setting. Adjustable stand allows directional adjustment. Ceiling/Wall mounting kit.

Review: What's wrong with the ones others got, mine is great - After reading some reviews I wasn't sure about this one. At this point I am thinking that they may have had QC problems in the past. Right out of the box it took about five minutes to get hot and about 15 to get rid of the new electric heater smell. I have it in a 8x18 bathroom and can feel the warmth 7 feet away. I took half an hour to warm the room up an hour later adjusted the temperature down to keep it from running us out of the room.
Review: Not for cold weather. - This may work for a small closet but not a room or garage. The fan has 1 speed. Slow. The heating element does not get hot so the air being pushed is just slightly warm. It needs a stronger fan and a glowing heat element.

**Q: How successful would this unit be in heating a 2 car, non-insulated garage?**
A: It depends on a couple of factors. 1) What’s the temperature outside (I.e. below freezing or above) 2) time (this device forces air). In my opinion it will not work well for that purpose if the average temperature is near or below freezing.

**Q: Does it heat better on the ceiling or floor?**
A: It is 1500 watt heat more than enough on table or on floor. Ceiling do not suggest but heat area up to 250sqft

**Q: What is the high temp safety shut off temperature?**
A: No offense but this heater stinks it looks great but that's it, do not buy this product

**Q: My dura heater 1.5 kw. 120 volt heater the thermostat fell apart in it so i need a new thermostat where can i ouder one?**
A: I would try to return it. I don't think you can buy parts

Heat output is good, fan blows a bit low, but that is normal per the owners manual. Fan noise...none, power required...normal. Size of unit is good, functions normally...good value for the money.
