They look just like the photograph. Mine said used however they were not "used" as in worn. They have a slight defect in the right boot. It's an air bubble just under the toes in the lining of the shoe which can cause some tightness to the fit of the boot. This was easily fixed by popping it and giving it some weight to push the rest of the air out. I do believe this is why they were labeled used. I would have liked to have known this about the boot before buying them but I can live with it. This is why I'm giving them a 4 star rating. A little info on the boots though, they're smaller around the ankle than most rain boots, which I love about them. They fit a 15in calf (max, measured at it's largest) at the opening at the top of the boot. They are cloth lined and come with an insert for more padding. They're also a true size fit, mine are a size 8 US Women's. I am over all happy with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these boots. *by C***L on January 6, 2013* I love these boots. I had other rain boots that were very cute but way too narrow for my feet to ever be comfortable for more than a couple hours. They also didn't have a lining so my feet were both cold and squeaky within them.These are great. The lining isn't thick so they won't keep your feet very warm but it's still welcome. They're wider so no worry of pinched feet.I hate wearing socks (and in LA that's mostly ok) but you kind of need them in these boots otherwise they might be a little loose. However, I solved that by taking out the inner lining and replacing them with Ugg Insoles. UGG Australia Replacement Insoles Boot Inserts They are even more comfortable and warm. They have "a natural arch support."You don't NEED to add these but they improve upon already great rain boots. However, if you need arch support, then it's probably a good idea. (Please note, UGG's sizing is a lot different than you'd expect. I usually order 2 full sizes down when I buy UGG boots and/or insoles.)I only gave them 4 stars because the stripe at the top wasn't completely secure. I used a little super glue to glue it down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love my rainboots! *by K***7 on March 20, 2011* I did a lot of research before settling on these rainboots, and I definitely made the right choice. First, the description specifically says these boots are PVC free. This isn't the case with other boots I considered, including the Kamiks. If you don't know what PVC is, google it. You don't want it touching your skin.Second, these boots are well-made. I have walked to and from work in the rain in these, which is a 2-mile round-trip, and they are indeed waterproof and I've seen no sign of cracking that people complain about with other boots. They did rub my heel a bit, but I don't wear socks, so that's my problem. I can't imagine that the quality of Hunters is any better than these, even though they cost twice as much.Next, the fit is great for me. I'm 5'2'', and they hit at just the right spot on my shins. I run and have pretty normal calves, so there is plenty of room with skinny jeans. But I could see how they would be tight if my calves were just a bit bigger.Finally, they're really cute, but not so cutesy that I am embarrassed wearing them into work.
