smarTrike smarTfold 300 Plus Folding Baby Tricycle for 1 Year Old, Red

My 1 year old loves this toddler tricycle. We used to struggle to get him into the pram as he did not want to be contained, but he goes on the Smart Trike willingly which makes the school run to pick-up his big sister much easier. He holds on and he thinks he's driving it himself! We've even used it for longer walks and he's been really happy to stay in it whereas he always wants to get out of the buggy as soon as he can. The bag on the back of the baby trike has been useful to put snacks, keys etc in. The trike looks really good too, I've had a lot of compliments on it from people. It was easy to set up, you just need to make sure to read the instructions about the wheel on the front as one direction means the baby steers, but that's for older kids and the other direction lets you steer for them - this confused me at first, but I hadn't read the instructions properly and there are pictures on the wheel itself. We will take it on holiday with us as it folds down and packs up really small. It's a case of folding it up into a bag - tricky the first time, but easy when you've had a practice! I definitely recommend this.

We have purchased the Red SmarTrike. The item arrived the next day as it is on Amazon Prime. We have purchased this baby bike for our two daughters, aged 2.5 years old and 10 months old . The item came well packed in the box.*Assembly*the trike came with a storage bag and folded, the instructions were very clear. The only down side was that the qr codes on each of the options leads to the main website and not to the assembly video (maybe a youtube links). It came already part assembled so it requires minimal assembly. We managed to trial it with our daughters within 5 minutes.The Smart Trike body and parts feel strong and durable, the switch between each mode (10m vs 30m) is easy and smooth, the ability to fold them is an amazing advantage. When we went for a ride on a walking path the navigation handle did not hold firm and started sliding in when there was some resistance ( However after speaking with the support- which they were very fast and helpful ) we realise that you need to pull hard for a pin to come out to be secured so the handle stay steady afterwards.Overall we are satisfied with the purchase, we would definitely recommend purchasing this item to our friends and family.

Overall we are really pleased with this product. It looks great, it is sturdy and the fact is folds down so easily and compact is a real bonus! I really like it has a little storage pocket too. It will be great to have an alternative to the buggy, and takes up much less space in the boot.It was fairly easy to put together and once you have got the hang of folding it up and down, it is really easy to do. My daughter is currently 13 months old, and I think she will really start getting the most of it in a few months time when she knows to hold onto the handles, and when she starts using the pedals.In my original review, I had noted that the handle kept slipping down which was really irritating. After contacting the manufacturer, they told me that there is a silver pin that must be popped out in order to avoid this happening. It took some force to make this happen first time (must be done whilst the red latches are open too), however now I have done this the handle no longer slips down - problem sorted! This could have been an oversight by us when assembling it, however it isn't obvious there is a pin so if you have the same problem, make sure you really pull it up with some force and wait to hear the click!

This is a great product! I learned of its existence from a friend who had it, so my kids had the chance to try it.It's like a small aeroplane, it's smartly built and very very easy to steer. I have a MacLaren which I bought for rides to nursery etc and I feel exhausted from holding the buggy so strong but with this Trike there is no need – just a smooth, easy ride.My 1.9 years old loves it! I guess he enjoys the feeling of freedom as he is not tied up in a buggy.My 3 years old girl enjoy every minute of it as she uses it as a bike and paddle all by herself (most of the time). So you can use it for a toddler trike or a baby trike.I hight recommend it as it’s also a good start for them before having a real bicycle.

My granddaughter absolutely loves this she wants to go out in it all the time. It is easy to assemble, very lightweight to use and is easier to manuver than most pushchairs (it's not a pushchair) the shape of the handle means your wrist doesn't get sore like others with a different handle shape can do. I have ran out of grandchildren but would buy again if I did have some more.

Absolute waste of money. This is so flimsy and badly made. The handle slips down so it is impossible to control and operate. The steering is also terrible. Buy a cheaper one, avoid this.

My baby absolutely loves it. Seems to be pretty well made and is easy to use and to fold up.The only issue is that the handle keeps sliding down, as someone else has also mentioned. It is very annoying. Such an obvious design flaw as well... It's hard to understand why it's been made like this. Considering whether to return it.

Really pleased with this smartrike - very easy to put together, folds fairly small and both my 4 year old and 1 year old like it and fight over it.... very handy for a stroll or a walk to the park and my little one even found it comfortable enough for napping. Has lots of settings as the child grows (or to accommodate siblings in our case)When assembling you need to ensure the locking pin of the handle is properly (as I found out after contacting the seller)
