You’ll have to snug up any loose bolts after driving a a bit but that’s to be expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy *by S***F on June 15, 2020* I purchased this for my next off-road excursion as I am tired of it flopping around in the back of the Jeep. Pros: - Reasonably priced - Components see sturdy Cons: - No instructions - Torque screws are not OEM Head Size I am a fairly handy guy and I was able to get this installed without instructions. However, it would be nice to have that included just so that I could ensure I am installing the item correctly. Couple of things to start, you will find that the hood bolts that replace the hood torques are not the same size as the OEM torque bolts. The OEM bolts require a T45 Torque bit to remove. The bolt that replaces it requires a T30 Torque bit to install. They are in my opinion inferior bolts to the larger head and size of the T45 OEM part. The T30 bolts are just slightly longer than the OEM bolts. Also, in my opinion, the manufacturer should have nylon or rubber washers included in the kit. As it did not, I ended up having to go to Lowes and picking up rubber washers to complete this installation. Secondly, this jack kit always for mounting on the hood or side of the Jeep. However, the caveat for the side mount is that you have to have your doors on. So that you can use the door hinge as the mount points. I initially wanted a side mount but I ride with my doors off whenever possible. So I retrospect I would have rather purchased a different mount. Of course, that could have been something that instructions or general information in the ad might have cleared up. It is relatively an easy install and took less than 5 minutes once you determine the layout and how to install. After installation, I tightened down the Hi-Jack and it seems quite secure. You can see the very rudimentary layout in one of the product pics for the item on Amazon. I will update this later if this item fails for any reason. Or stands the test of a few off-road trips.
