I simply took it to Dicks along with my red connector that I bought from Amazon as well for $13 and they did it for free as I had to buy a leather grip for the shaft. I am literally hitting it 50 yards past my buddies and I am hitting it left to right and right to left and it just finds the fairway. I did not cut it down, I simply put the ball outside my left toe and hit up on it and it just pierces through the sky at a lower height, just as advertised.
