I run it on sleep mode all the time to keep my bedroom hydrated while the heat is on. I think you get about 24 hours on this mode before needing to refill. I just fill it every day as part of my routine though. It's light and easy to fill. The only downside is there is no way to really clean the tank. The only opening is the fill spout. Took it out of the box, added distilled water, plugged it in and voila! So very, very quiet running! There are 3 speeds for humidity dispersion. We keep it on the lowest setting for about 12-14 hours nightly and it keeps our humidity level in our 2400 square foot home just where we want it in order to keep our skin and furniture better hydrated. I love its simplicity and the bottom fill is definitely not an issue.
