Review: Great system, easy to install, amazing support - I am very satisfied with this system. Installation was simple and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The quality of everything with system is also very good, feels very durable and like it will last a very long time. The water coming out of this system seems very clean and tastes great! the water flow from the included faucet is good, faster than what my fridge water dispenser puts out. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase! Had a couple questions during and after installation that Robert at support was very helpful and super fast to get back to me. Review: Fantastic, hands down - I’ve wanted one of these filters for years now, once I learned a bit about the chlorine, fluoride, and microplastics in my tap water. While my wife and son drink water from our Brita pitcher, I normally would just drink from our kitchen sink where the water isn’t as cold and not as painful for my sensitive teeth. I drink about two pots of coffee a day, take 1/2 gallon of water with me to work each day, and drink probably another 1/2 gallon per day while I’m home. It’s a lot of tap water! When I first discovered these filters, we were renting an apartment, so it didn’t seem worth the effort to install. Once we bought our house, there were a million other things to spend money on first! 2.5 years since we moved in, a solid Black Friday sale coupled with our wedding anniversary finally made this purchase happen. I ordered it at 11:00am this morning, and it was at my door before 2:00pm same day. I ended up installing the filters in my basement, directly underneath the kitchen sink, to save some space. The water tank is under the sink, for now (I may also move that to the basement). Having the filters in the basement made the install a bit slower, having to go up and down the stairs a bunch, but all in all it took me about 2.5 hours to install. I needed a drill to mount the filter rack to the wall, but other than that the only tool I needed was a pair of channel locks. The process was straightforward, and there was no point in time that I was confused as to what my next steps were. The only thing that tripped me up was the reverse osmosis filter itself, but that was only because I didn’t fully seat it in its housing at first. Once I fully popped it in, the housing cap screwed on, no problem The push-to-connect fittings are very easy to work with, and I had no leaks once I brought the system to pressure. There’s even an included auto-stop valve that’s supposed to detect leaks and shut off the water automatically, which is a great peace of mind. The instructions direct you to visually check the install each day for the first two weeks. I’ll be doing that, but knowing that auto-stop is on there still makes me feel much better about things (I’m an electrician, not a plumber lol). Not wanting to use the drain saddle, I ran my drain line directly to the utility sink in my basement. I didn’t plan for it, but being able to physically see water leaving the drain is a convenient way to be able to tell if the system is actively filtering water in the moment, or whether the tank is full The water tastes great, better than the Brita in my opinion. I bought the version that has the Alkaline filter final stage to remineralize the water for taste, and I’m happy with that decision. Highly filtered water often tastes bland, but that’s not the case with this unit. I could fill up a bottle for some fancy spring water with this stuff, and I doubt anyone would notice there’s a difference Product quality seems solid, and the reviews lead me to believe it’ll all hold up for years to come. The faucet is a little wobbly, but I understand it can’t be too tight without risking failure. The flow rate from the faucet is perfectly adequate for a glass of water, too. Not as fast as the tap, but that’s to be expected. Tomorrow it’ll get put to the real test, when I fill up my 1/2 gallon water bottle and brew a pot of coffee. The reservoir tank supposedly holds 2.6gallons though, so I don’t foresee any issues. The rest of the family wakes up hours later, and the tank will no doubt be refilled by that point. On initial startup, the first tankful took about 1.5 hours to fill up. Per the instructions, I then poured that first tank out, presumably to remove any potential manufacturing contaminants. That waiting game for the first good glass of water was probably the hardest part of the whole install I’ve wanted one of these things for years. I finally purchased and installed one today, and I’m incredibly happy with the end result. I wish I did it sooner, but the next best time is today, right? The company seems to stand behind their products in terms of warranty and returns, and at such an attractive price, there’s really not much risk in giving this filter a shot in your home. **Q: What does this mean: "For each gallon of clean water, only 2 gallons of water are wasted"? Where does the wasted water go? How is this economical?**
A: If your family drink 10 gallons of water per day. The waste water might equal to 10 flushes of your toilet.

**Q: Where do I get replacement filters and which ones do you need to change and when?**
A: Many online sources that sell RO systems. A search for the RO system itself will typically get you a list of a bunch of places that can also sell the filters. You can buy them thru Amazon in multiple versions.  Individually, 1 year pack, 2 year pack, 3 year pack. In a year some of the filters are recommended to be replaced twice, some once, etc. And the "pack" comes with the right number of filters for that period of time. Stage 1 (FP15) is a 10" sediment filter replacement recommended 3-6 months though in our house we have a pre-filter for the whole house so we don't replace this one as often. Stage 2 (FG15) activated carbon filter replacement recommended every 3-6 months. Stage 3 (FC15) CTO carbon block filter replacement recommended every 3-6 months. These three are in the 10" vertical tubes and are relatively easy to change. Stage 4 (MC1) is the RO membrane itself. Recommendations on replacing this are every two years but vary. We have a pre & post particulate monitor to help us tell when it's losing its effectiveness as this is the most expensive component to replace. Multi-year filter packs will include an RO membrane but a single year pack typically will not. Bear that in mind when looking at cost of 2 year vs. 1 year packs. Stage 5 (FT15) another carbon filter but post RO. Recommended replacement annual. Stage 6 the Alkaline filter that actually puts minerals back into the water. This is recommended to be replaced every 3-6 months. In my experience you will begin to taste when this one needs replacement. This stage is the reason I bought this particular RO system and I like the taste it gives to the water. IMHO it will diminish over time and give you some indication when it needs to be changed. If you search in Amazon under something like iSpring Filter Pack

**Q: what is the sie of the hole required (in the granite slab) for the faucet?**
A: I think there is some confusion with the answers here. I think people who are stating holes over one inch are referrring to standard size holes that are factory or site drilled., and are already there. The faucet has a larger than 1/2" excusion that should cover a larger hole. By all means if you need to drill your own hole, only make it 1/2", because that is all that is required.

We are extremely happy with this product. We had been struggling to get good drinking water from our new well. The installation video was extremely helpful, loved the QR code.
