**Q: Can you use detergent of your choice (Dawn &/or Pine Sol)?**
A: Any light detergent can be used. No chlorine and non flammable.

**Q: Where is this made?**

**Q: Can I use the steam mop attachment (on the lowest setting) to remove soot off a kitchen ceiling?**
A: I believe the rectangular floor tool covered with microfiber would be better and would work well. It's thin and lightweight and has a fully articulating head which I think would be better for reaching overhead. 
  This model produces a dryer steam at a higher pressure than most models which seems preferable on ceilings, since they're often painted with a very flat finish ceiling paint which offers no protection from moisture to the drywall.
