Review: Nice Looking Humidor - Very nice looking product, I really like the leather finish and stitching on the outside. It had a nice cedar smell inside when I first opened it. I've had no issues with the hygrometer or the humidity pack this comes with falling off the magnetic top like some others have said. I also added a couple of the Boveda humidity packs to the bottom and have had no issues with maintaining a consistent humidity. It did take about 2 days to initially build up the humidity level, but this was expected and the directions explain how to soak the humidity release pack for this initial period. The hygrometer seems to be accurate and I haven't experienced any sealing or leaking issues with the humidor itself, it seems to stay shut very well. The shelf is easy to take out, but not super easy, if that makes sense. It's snug and you have to lift it straight out and put it straight back down or it can get hung up on the sides. I have not needed to get to the bottom layer very often. One thing that would be nice is if a second divider was included for the bottom layer. I like the divider for the top shelf but I could also use one on the bottom.
Review: Highly recommend and great customer service - This humidor is well made, with a quality feel, and keeps a good seal. The leather is well taylored and gives the case a very stylish look. The hygrometer came with a defective calibration adjustment screw, making it uncalibratable. I emailed Megacra about it and they responded within TEN MINUTES, suggesting they simply credit my desertcart Acct for the cost of a new hygrometer from desertcart for faster replacement which was fair, and I accepted. It also needed a bit more room in the bottom section so I could double-stack cigars. Went to ACE Hardware and got a strip of 1/4” x 1/4” wood, cut off two, 7.5” pieces, and glued them to the top of the rails on the sides of the bottom portion of the box; a very simple and inconspicuous modification. That raised the top tray just enough to be able to double stack all my sticks in both the bottom and in the top tray, and without compromising the seal of the lid. I particularly like the feature of the large, framed, magnetized plate on the lid to hold both the hygrometer and the included humidifier that I fill with Glycol solution which keeps the closed box at a steady 72%. Overall, this was an excellent choice for me. I estimate it should hold up to 45 sticks if need be, from 44's to 54's and up to 7.5”. I can definitely recommend it.

A: There is nothing printed on the box or in the literature to indicate any relationship with Cohiba, though I do have some Cohiba's stored in it, and they seem to be happy.

This humidor is well made, with a quality feel, and keeps a good seal. The leather is well taylored and gives the case a very stylish look. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Certainly worth it for the money folks

Hey there. i bought this thing after much deliberation because i had picked up a bunch of Cuban cigars on my last trip to Canada without thinking of how i was going to store them. looked at the other options on amazon and saw that the only major complaints about this one were that the hygrometer wasn't that accurate, whereas with the other ones on this site it looked like they didn't fully seal to maintain humidity etc etc. So this seemed like the best bang for the buck, plus there was the most feedback about this one. Long story boring, there are a few things you need to know about this once you buy it. First, learn how to season the Humidor. This one comes with directions, but do a little bit of digging elsewhere on the interwebs. its easy, and makes it so that you dont destroy your own cigars. Second (and this is a BIG one), buy a digital Hygrometer. It is much more accurate than the analog one that comes included in this humidor. The one included in the humidor tends to overstate the humidity, and that can be bad if you think its more humid than it is. Third, and lastly, the humidifier that comes included with this unit may not be effective enough for your liking. I decided to spend an extra 6 or 9 bucks to get one of the many evaporating crystal/gel products (i think it is some form of glycol?) on this site that come in a tube and you just sit in the humidor ONCE IT IS SEASONED to up the humidity. without the gel product, i think the box sat at about 65-68% humidity and i read somewhere you want between 68-74% or something of the like. All in all, with the tube in the box i have the humidor sitting comfortably and consistently at 72-74% humidity and 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Oh, and one last pro-tip. if you take this route, the little humidifying unit only needs to be refilled with distilled water like once a month. happy humidor-ing, folks.
