There is a serrated, oval burner port for round and half-round objects. Several tool functions are possible through these two holding options: e.g. counter-holding small hexagonal nuts, pulling and holding sheet metal and angled steel, holding and turning pipes and conduits, bending locking pins and tensioning Bowden cables. The Knipex 03 02 180 combination pliers also prove to be a useful universal tool for cutting.
