It feels like it is made well. The cushion is more like memory foam. And it is just the right size. If you have a large head, it might be too small. It is Very durable. Packs small. Easy to clean! I finally had a chance to try it while out camping. I found that the pillow was more comfortable when it wasn't inflated all the way. If I leave it to inflate by itself and refrain from blowing into it to completely fill it feels much better. The pillow is considerably bulky, so keep that in mind if you intend to use it while backpacking. I knew it might be an issue while reading the reviews, and I decided to give it a shot anyway because I'm willing to readjust things and sacrifice some space in the name of comfort and good quality rest. The first night I used the pillow I put it inside my sleeping bag (it's too big to fit in the pillow sleeve it has), and it was mostly ok. However, a few hours in noticed the material is not breathable and the side of my face that was against the pillow felt sweaty and hot. I wrapped the pillow in moisture-wicking shirt and that seemed to help. Unfortunately, the second night also happened to be the first freeze oft he season and the first thing I noticed is that the pillow was painfully cold, even with the improvised pillow case. Even after warming one side up, turning in middle of the night was quite the rude awakening.
