They look very nice and after installation, I cannot tell they are rubber or that they were not the original laces. I agree with other reviewers that these were difficult to install and were fragile. I ripped the anchor with a tweezer while trying to pull the anchor through the lace hole with the tweezer. I had no choice but to use my fingers, which were throbbing after installing these on one shoe. I couldn’t do the other shoe for a few days.
