It fits well under my shirt and tucks carefully in there. Since I'm on the heavier side it's difficult to put on, but after fiddling with the bag itself it made it much easier and I just had to get used to it. The pistol it carries is a double stack so that itself makes it a but bulky, the bag itself is thick leather so it's about 1 and half inches thickness. I normally wear a size 36 pants and that fits snug in my belt line, but with a size 38 it's perfect. I'm not saying it's necessary to change the whole wardrobe in order to fit this holster, it just makes it easier. The quality of the holster itself is top notch, very well built, no defects, it even came with instructions! Although I must specify the instructions were to demonstrate how to break it in.
