Very comfy right out of the box. The lining is warm but not bulky, perfect for fall/winter wear. I'm a true size 9, so euro sizes can be tricky for me. I'm usually in between a 39 and a 40, but no one sells 39.5 here. So...I tried both sizes in this boot. I ended up keeping the 40 so I can wear them with thicker socks since me feet are always cold. I do have a little heel slippage in that size, but with the soft squishy lining this hasn't been a problem. My calf measures 14.5" (15" with skinny jeans), and these boots fit perfectly over my skinny jeans. Love them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Immediately had to try them on and they feel amazing. Purchased size 8 (tried on without socks and had plenty of room for normal socks, you will not need thick wool socks because the foot bed is lined and so is the entire boot). I have muscular calves so I did loosen the top buckle to allow for better comfort. The leather smells so good and the color is same as shown. The zipper, soles and heel seem very constructed. I've actually been looking for about 3 years or so for the perfect fall/winter boot and am glad I waited for the right ones. These are so soft, fit well, and look great with so many things. I ordered both the 37 and 38 and went with the smaller size as I can tell they may stretch out a bit (normally wear a size 7 or 7 1/2). It's hard for me to find shoes that have a narrow enough fit in the heel, but these do, and they hug my calves just right. The fleece on the inside is comfy warm and feels great on my feet.
