The description is accurate. I just assumed that for that price it would be leak-proof; my mistake. The picture shows why it isn't leak proof. Also, the lid gasket is a foam material that would probably start to leak after a short while anyway. It has a wide enough base that leaking is not likely to be an issue as long as it is placed on a flat surface. I just need to be careful where I put it in my van. If I put it on top of stuff, where it can possibly get tipped, then I'm asking for trouble.
