With a 1.25” focuser, included eyepieces, and a user-friendly red dot finder, it offers a seamless viewing experience. Weighing only 5.25 pounds and featuring a 100mm objective lens, this telescope is perfect for on-the-go astronomy enthusiasts. ## Description Zhumell’s innovative Z Series Dobsonian telescopes have taken the world of amateur astronomy by storm. Now, you can get Zhumell’s unmatched quality and value in a portable tabletop Dobsonian with the compact Z100. It’s the perfect way to get started with astronomy or add a grab-and-go scope to your collection. The Zhumell Z100 Portable Reflector Telescope features a 100mm parabolic primary mirror, a high-end feature that’s very uncommon in telescopes of this size. The parabolic mirror removes visual defects like spherical aberration, providing noticeably sharper views. The primary mirror and all other optical surfaces are coated with Zhumell’s high-reflectivity coatings. You can count on more than 90 percent light transmission, for brighter views of even dim objects like nebulae. Thanks to its industry-leading optical components, the Z100 outperforms other tabletop telescopes of a similar size for a difference you can see and appreciate under the night sky. With the Z100, Zhumell has put your money where it belongs: into the telescope’s optical system. The Z100’s mechanical design is simple and streamlined. A durable, sturdy construction means your Zhumell will stand up to years of use and travel. Thanks to its compact size and weight, you can confidently pack it along for camping trips, vacations, and more. When you arrive at your observing site, the telescope comes together in seconds. Once you’re set up, swing the scope on its lazy susan-style mount toward your desired object. Center your target in the Red Dot Finderscope, you’re ready to view it through the eyepiece. Then, make small adjustments to smoothly track objects as they drift across the sky. Whether you’re an experienced amateur astronomer or a brand new stargazer, the Zhumell Z100 brings you the night sky on your terms. This convenient, portable telescope is always at the ready to deliver impressive, detailed images, from a quick peek at the sky in your backyard to a marathon night of stargazing. ## Features - Industry standard 1.25” focuser, compatible with many different accessories - Changing magnifications is easier than ever with included 17mm and 10mm eyepieces - Easy to use red dot finder makes aiming the Z100 a breeze for any level of user ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07CD3MS17 | | Additional Features | 100mm parabolic primary mirror, high-reflectivity coatings for bright views | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,972 in Camera & Photo Products ( See Top 100 in Camera & Photo Products ) #81 in Telescope Reflectors | | Brand | Zhumell | | Built-In Media | Zhumell Z100 Telescope Single Arm Dobsonian Mount Red Dot Finder 17mm 1.25” Eyepiece 10mm 1.25” Eyepiece Screwdriver | | Coating | Multi-Coated | | Compatible Devices | General astronomy accessories | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 203 Reviews | | Exit Pupil Diameter | 7.14 millimeters | | Eye Piece Lens Description | 1.25-inch telescope eyepiece lenses | | Field Of View | 250.02 degrees | | Finderscope | Reflex | | Focal Length Description | 15.748 inches | | Focus Type | Manual Focus | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00853555008034 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 14.5"D x 11"W x 11.75"H | | Item Type Name | Zhumell ZHUS001-1 Z100 Portable Altazimuth Reflector Telescope, Black | | Item Weight | 5.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | Celestron Acquisition LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | ZHUS001-1 | | Model Name | Zhumell | | Model Number | ZHUS001-1 | | Mount | Altazimuth Mount | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. Agreed a 2X Barlow lens is definitely a helpful addition for planetary viewing. Also keep in mind that Jupiter's day is roughly 10 hours long (it rotates much faster than Earth), so the GRS will be visible for 5 hours (as it transits across Jupiter's face) and then won't be visible for 5 hours as it will be on the far side of Jupiter. It may or may not be in view on any given night during prime-time hours. How much planetary detail you can see on any given night highly depends on what astronomers call "atmospheric seeing conditions" (or just "seeing"). This is a measure of how steady the air is from your ground position, up through the top of Earth's atmosphere. On a night with bad seeing, you won't see fine details -- it will look like the planet is "boiling". Bad seeing is made worse by high magnification, which planets require. Also, be sure to let your telescope's temperature equalize to the outside temperature or you will have bad seeing caused by air currents inside the telescope tube. By contrast, good "atmospheric transparency" is what you'd need to view dim low-magnification "deep sky objects" (DSOs) like M42 The Orion Nebula or M27 The Dumbbell Nebula. This is a measure of how much light can pass through Earth's atmosphere. This doesn't affect planets because they are much brighter than DSOs because planets are in our solar system, but DSOs are light-years away. Check the seeing and transparency forecast for your area at: www.cleardarksky.com **Q: How do I collimate the primary mirror?** A: The primary mirror is collimated at the factory and cannot be changed, unless you plan on doing a lot of modifications/customizations. All needed adjustments must be made using the secondary mirror. **Q: I would like to know how well can you see mars with this?? Any details of the surface???** A: When Mars was close a few months ago I could see the polar caps and very slight detail. Don't expect to see craters but it's much more than just a dot. **Q: Anyone know the link to the 2x Barlow glass for the Z100?** A: You can use any 1.25" diameter Barlow you like. ## Frequently Bought Together - Zhumell Z100 Portable Altazimuth Reflector Telescope - SVBONY Barlow Lens 2X, 1.25 inch Barlow Lens with Multi Coated Broadband Green Film, Telescope Accessories with M42 Thread for Telescope Eyepiece - SVBONY Telescope Eyepiece Fully Mutil Coated 1.25 inches Telescope Accessories Set 66 Degree Ultra Wide Angle HD 6mm for Astronomy Telescope --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/83491160-z100-portable-altazimuth-reflector-telescope](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/83491160-z100-portable-altazimuth-reflector-telescope) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
