They say you need a second person, but I didn't. It seems sturdy and looks great! You could use it either vertically or horizontally. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the cost *by F***D on January 15, 2018* I bought this shelving unit in white. It was super simple to put together. Took about an hour total (which I did by myself as a 24 year old female) however it came in two separate parts which I wasn’t expecting. The bottom unit are the two bottom selves (which are taller then the other shelves) and the top unit are the top three selves. Then you kinda screw them together to make one larger unit. However you can definitely tell... the quality is low but that’s okay considering it’s only in my office. It comes with weight limits for the shelves too. Bottom and third can hold 50lbs. Second, fourth, and fifth can only hold 35lbs.
