I had 4 of the smaller 8 oz bowls for my 4 cats. I have been trying to find larger bowls....finally found them. Got 4. My cats absolutely love having more room in their bowls to push their food around in. These bowls are steady on the floor or table as they are no skid. They don't spill, they stay put. Judging from the others which I have had for 3 years - they do scratch a bit inside, but if you don't use a knife, it is no more than any other plastic. I only use a spoon in them. I am sure they will last a very long time. GREAT BOWLS FOR PETS. These would probably work for a dog up to 20 or 24 pounds.... If I cooked more, I would get the mixing bowls too!
