A: Yes, this product is great for descaling water lines with mineral buildup. If the ice machine has buildup inside the waterlines this should effectively clear those lines.

**Q: Will this work for an LG front-loader washing machine? I need it to clean the pump, tub, and drain lines.**
A: I would not trust this product on heavy buildup.

**Q: for 40G tank how much I need?**
A: You should rig up a pump and let it circulate for about 45 mins.

**Q: What is in this besides hydrochloric acid? My tankless water heater manufacturer Rinnai seems to only recommend vinegar, no harsh chemicals.**
A: I do not know other than what's on the label, but I have two Rinnai units and have used it on both, two times now, adn have not seen any ill effects.
