I will say, if your fish is a pale white, this food will turn the white into more of a yellow. It will go back to the pale fleshy white color once you switch to another food. But I’m not complaining about that, I think it looks better and more alive now that it’s more yellow. Overall: 10/10 staple food, all you need for goldfish

I switched my two baby (6 month old) goldfish to this food from omega 1 flakes because they were getting constipated almost every day and Hikari's big selling point is that their food is easy to digest. It took a week or so to transition the babies from flake food to pellets, but after a few weeks on this food, they're no longer getting constipated.
