I am delighted with this product and it keeps the coffee warm longer than other cafetieres **Q: are these manufactured in China?** A: No idea where manufactured. Have looked on web but can’t find any info. It’s well made though. No complaints. **Q: Is this dishwasher safe?** A: Risked it in the dishwasher, despite no instructions in the packaging and the body has been fine although I remove it as soon as the cycle is through. I hand wash the filter etc. rather than using the dishwasher. Hope this helps! **Q: Anyone had black oily residue on the plunger stem?
