The screws that go through the mounting strap and stick through the cover which you screw the caps onto to hold it all together are too short which you can conveniently discover trying to hold the whole contraption on the ceiling. Who knows maybe I'm just a doorknob and read the directions wrong, which is a very real possibility because they are completely unreadable unless you're fluent in little black blobs that aren't labeled.
