When I was a kid I got a trick that allowed you to put water in a glass soda bottle and turn it over and no water would run out. You could then stick a toothpick into the mouth of the bottle and it would float up. This is the same concept. Put water in a glass, turn it over, and the water does not run out until you want it to. Both the glass and the gimmick are plastic. There is a small hole near the bottom of the glass, which would be a give away, so it must be concealed. I like the routine on the listing. Scooping up water from a bowl, dumping out some water as proof, is great. However, I would be worried that when the water is released from the glass the gimmick would be visible in the glass bowl. Bottom line: real nice trick requiring no magic skills such as sleight of hand. Easy to use, nicely made, and will surely mystify the kids.
