But for what I needed? They’re perfect. I have big dogs who somehow manage to knock their name tags and rabies tags off their collars constantly. The flimsy little rings that usually come with the collars just don’t cut it. These key rings, though? They hold up way better. They’re sturdier than the ones that come with the collars but still easy enough to work with when adding or removing tags. Plus, they’re super pretty! The flat split design looks sleek and polished, which is a nice bonus. I love that I can rely on them to keep my dogs’ tags secure without worrying they’ll get lost during playtime or walks. So, if you need something heavy-duty for keys, maybe keep looking—but if you’re like me and need something reliable (and attractive) to keep your dogs’ tags in place, these are a great choice! Review: Solid well-made key-rings, which will last. Very happy and highly recommend. - Very well made solid key-rings. I was tired of cheap key-rings which easily bend. I wanted to have key-rings which would last and provide me with a sense of security that nothing will fall off. I also used two of them to attach my American flag to the flag pole replacing the cheap plastic hooks. There is more than one use for this product. ## Features - STRONGER THAN THE RING THAT CAME WITH YOUR KEYS — 12 flat 30 mm (1.18") split rings made from 2.1 mm flat wire with two full coils. Holds an everyday set of house and car keys, fobs and dog tags without spreading open like thin round-wire rings. - CHECK THE SIZE — 30 mm (1.18") outside, 25.8 mm (1.02") inside: a little larger than a US quarter. Right for keys, key fobs, dog and pet ID tags, zipper pulls and paracord. Too large for jewelry and tiny charm loops. Need a smaller ring? Look at our 20 mm rings. - OPEN IT WITHOUT BENDING — Slide a coin or a small flat screwdriver into the split and work the key around the coil. Don't pry the ring wide open: any split ring forced open like a carabiner stays gapped. The flat edges are crisp, so use a coin rather than your fingernail. - BLUE COLOR-COATED FINISH — A bright blue coating over the ring, easy to spot in a bag or on a hook. The coating can wear at the split and where metal keys rub every day. Want a finish that wears more slowly? Choose Gun Metal, Gold or Rainbow, which are heat-anodized. - 12 IN EVERY PACK — Built for keys, dog tags, paracord, zipper pulls, EDC gear and craft work. Strong for everyday carry, but not rated for towing, climbing or industrial loads. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07D4L8J5D | | Best Sellers Rank | #48,427 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #44 in Men's Keyrings & Keychains | | Brand Name | Silipac | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 3,186 Reviews | | Finish Type | Anodized | | Item Weight | 20 g | | Manufacturer | Silipac | | Manufacturer Part Number | ring2v | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | ring2v | | Number of Items | 12 | | Number of Pieces | 12 | | Product Style | Chain,Simple | | UPC | 636836654201 | | Unit Count | 12 count | ## Images ![Heavy Duty Key Rings 30mm – Flat Split Key Rings in Gun Metal, Gold, Rainbow, Red, Blue & Copper – for Car Keys, Dog Tags, EDC & Crafts - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Yl77EDcKL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What size are these key rings?** A: Each ring measures 30 mm (1.18 in) across the outside and 25.8 mm (1.02 in) inside. **Q: How many rings are in one pack?** A: 12 rings, all in the color you select: Gunmetal, Blue, Red, Gold or Rainbow. **Q: What is the ring made of?** A: Flat 2.1 mm zinc alloy wire, wound in two full coils, with smooth edges. **Q: How do I open the ring without bending it?** A: Slip a coin, a key edge or a flat tip into the split, lift the coil end and slide the key along the coil. **Q: Can I use it for towing or heavy loads?** A: No. The rings are strong for everyday keys, not for towing or heavy loads. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Dog Tags—Prettier and Stronger Than What Comes on Collars! *by V***R on April 22, 2025* These Key Rings Flat Split Keychain Bulk Heavy Duty aren’t the absolute strongest key rings out there, so if you’re looking for something to hold a huge set of keys or need industrial strength, I’d look elsewhere. I got the "gun metal" color, which looks amazing when new, and ages nicely. it turns a sort of copper color in areas where my house keys have rubbed on it enough. They are VERY durable, and incredibly smooth, which a lot of other key rings i have seen are not. I have had no issues putting on my car keys and taking them off numerous times when my car is in the shop (the keyfob has a very "thick" plastic ring, probably 1/4" that this has to go through). Even after probably ~20 times doing that, it still "shuts" as it did when new, with no gap between the rings. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/84269223-heavy-duty-key-rings-30mm-flat-split-key-rings-in](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/84269223-heavy-duty-key-rings-30mm-flat-split-key-rings-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
