## Description

The Huffy Escalate has an energetic intensity with aggressive styling to match your passion for the great outdoors. It has a lightweight aluminum hardtail frame, 21 speeds with an all-Shimano drivetrain for ultra smooth trigger shifting, and lightweight alloy wheel rims with alloy linear pull brakes for dependable stopping power. Just follow the simple, step-by-step instructions; our product manual guides you through every step. The 24-inch model is ideal for ages 12-19, a recommended height of 58-70 inches, and a minimum inseam of 28.5 inches. The Escalate boasts a lightweight aluminum hardtail frame backed by our limited 10-year warranty (see owner's manual for details). Much lighter than steel, aluminum provides more rolling momentum so it's easier to pedal for speed and acceleration. With the strength of aluminum, the frame efficiently transfers energy to the drivetrain - ideal for climbing and responsive handling. Unlike steel, aluminum is corrosion-resistant. An all-Shimano delivers 21 speeds of ultra-smooth, precise shifting with just your index finger and thumb. Flawless shifting ensures smooth, reliable transition between gears. The removable rear derailleur guard protects the gears from any unintentional damage. Front suspension delivers the right response for whatever terrain you ride; The front-load stem with forged crown provides extra strength for riding comfort. Knobby tires provide good traction in wet and dry conditions – on dirt, gravel or even pavement. Lightweight alloy linear pull brakes are specifically designed with the precision-machined alloy wheel rims for exceptional brake pad contact and smooth stopping power. The ATB saddle, with premium padding, is stitched for lasting quality. An alloy quick release enables easy seat height adjustment. The slight-rise handlebar enables upright riding to minimize back and shoulder strain. Tab-type resin pedals on the 3-piece crank have a good, responsive feel. Kraton grips remain comfortable to the touch on long rides. Kickstand included. Feed your passion for the great outdoors, and choose the Huffy Escalate to elevate your love for outdoor riding. Huffy, We Make Fun!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the inseam for the 24 inch wheels / 15 inch frame?**
A: 24" Escalate , 15" frame the inseam suggestion would be 25"-30"

**Q: I bought it and it came broken one piece what should I do now?**
A: I took the bike to a professional to put together. I live in the Caribbean so there are lots of bike specialist here. If you live in the US and you can pay extra so that it comes put together I think you should take that option. My husband is great but why take the chance:)

**Q: What is the max weight this bike can accommodate? i'm 250lbs**
A: Huffy makes adult bikes in 20-, 24- and 26-inch sizes. The maximum weight capacity for a 20-inch bike is 150 pounds. For a 24- or 26-inch bicycle, the maximum capacity is 250 pounds. This includes cruisers, all-terrain, BMX-style and mountain bikes.

**Q: What size inner tub does this tire take? It popped.**
A: 1.95 2.05 2.125 either inner tube for 24-inch tires listed on sidewall of tire.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Bike
*by G***I on August 17, 2023*

It is an easy to install bike. Ride is great and has 21 speed. Perfect bike for mountain biking.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it
*by D***E on June 8, 2021*

I bought this for my 13 year old grandson. He put the bike together himself (1st time he did this). He loves it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems like a decent bike
*by K***R on May 31, 2020*

Pro’s: Seems like a general all around good bike. Lite frame, components seem decent, leather seat (small and somewhat hard however). Cons: Manual sucks and the bike needed a lot of tweaking to tune the part (brakes, tires, etc). I went into this understanding this is a bottom of the line performance bike, so if you are expecting something from a 4-500 dollar model, you might be disappointed. This is a step up from the steel models, nothing more.
