The Ultrafeed has an AC motor. it gets is sewing power from the gear reduction that takes place in the belts. The MC-SCR is a full on Industrial power system comprising of a DC motor and electronic controls. When sewing with an AC motor, power is going to be relative to speed. With the MC-SCR, you are able to sew with full power at any speed since power and speed are regulated independently.
