The grain size is about right but the crushed amethyst I received was nearly clear/white with a very light purple tint if you look at it in the right light. Kind of defeats the purpose of using crushed amethyst. I understand that this is a natural product and there will be variation but they should really have some quality control and grade this stuff, especially if they are going to use the current picture that is not representative of what the product they are shipping looks like. Honestly, I would avoid this as the stuff they are shipping out right now isn't really worth including in your pieces. It's a shame because this company had several other things I was interested in but they clearly have no QC so whether I get something useful is not worth the gamble. ### ⭐⭐ Very pale color that doesn't darken when wet *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2020* For some pretty pricey crushed stone, I was disappointed by the pale color when I embedded the stone in some clear epoxy coating.
