This combo of leggings & skirt solves the problem. It easily holds the tennis balls and although the skirt part is still short, it doesn't matter because the leggings cover everything.One thing that might be a little less than perfect but not enough to knock a star is that the "adjustable waist" lets you pull a string to gather the material more tightly around the waist, but there's no way to secure it. It's a continuous string so you can't tie a bow or have some kind of clip. I wear them for the gym -no tenis. Good quality. Dry quickly, I didn't use the dryer just washer machine and let them air dry -just because my silly superstition that some clothes shrink a little. I bought one, tried and fall in love and I end up buying 2 more. I hope for colors.
