Review: REVIEW WITH UPDATES - SEVERAL UPDATES AT THE END. So far this thing is fabulous. The first day I got it I used it all day long, load after load after load and it worked wonderfully. The spinner did a far, far better job than I expected! Obviously the clothes are not dry but they don’t have much water left in them (unless it’s like a towel). Very impressed with the spinner. It does get unbalanced sometimes, of course, but you get the hang of it. so far at least this is not been a problem. (Also, I have found that if I press firmly on the lid of the spinner the balance issue often resolves itself.) The tube that comes with it for filling the washing compartment with water is useless (waay too short). But if you get a RinsaRoo you can easily fill it from a shower head or a sink faucet. To rinse: After washing cycle stops, let the dirty water drain out, pull the wet clothes out (then I drop them in the spinner side), l refill the washer with clean water, put the clothes back in, then run it again to rinse. For me, the only downside of this otherwise awesome item is that it drains by gravity. So I don’t know how one would use it if it were not in a bathtub or shower stall. I put mine in the tub for easy drainage. In summary: My clothes get clean. The spinner does a great job. It’s neither loud nor quiet. It is easy to change the length of time for washing, rinsing, and spinning. It needs to be in a tub or shower stall because it drains by gravity. I used a Rinsaroo to fill the washer side. Though my Rinsaroo broke after a few months and now I just use a plastic pitcher. Lastly, overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and have had no problems. Knock on wood, as I know that returning a large item like this would be a big hassle. And I have never had good experiences having to return things to China. Note, my suggestions re. the spin side. Use the provided white plastic disc in the spinner. Follow the directions (It goes on TOP of the clothes.) Press it down just a little bit onto the wet clothes before spinning. Do not fill to the top with clothes, and do not put one small thing - either seem to cause it to be unbalanced. UPDATE #1: AMZ = desertcart I bought another washer (gift). It arrived with a LARGE hole in the box, not a good sign. Indeed, the machine received a long crack along the spinner side. :-( AMZ says I'm not eligible for a refund because it is a 3rd party seller. Their 3rd party policy says, "Third-party sellers must either provide a return address within the United States, a prepaid return label, or offer a full refund without requesting the item be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file an A-to-z Guarantee claim to seek help with your return." I received no labels. So I can "file a claim" for help with a return. Which would cost MUCH more than I paid for the item. I wrote the company through AMZ's "Problem with order" page, which AMZ said I have to do. AMZ says, "If the seller does not resolve your issue within 48 hours of the first message, you can revisit this page to check if you are eligible to request an A-to-z Guarantee refund." If the company says I have to return it (which would cost MUCH more than I paid for the item), that will be considered 'resolving the issue.' So, I'll be screwed. All I can do is hope the company will reimburse me or send another machine. (Both of which I am sure will not happen.) I will UPDATE this review as things move forward. UPDATE #2: Seller said they would send a replacement and it would arrive 12/08. Today's the 12th, it has not arrived. UPDATE #3: It arrived the 13th. Minor exterior damage (probably from the large hole punched in the box), but it works just fine! The company provided very fast communication (using desertcart's communication platform) and resolved the issue. I am impressed! And I still love mine. Review: UPDATES: Wish I would have bought this sooner - Update, 3.5 years later: the motor on the spin side has finally failed. It was totally worth the $100 for 3.5 years of many, many small loads per week. Update, 1 year later: I have had no problems with this machine. It's still going strong. I've definitely overloaded it and the motors show no signs of stopping. I wouldn't recommend overloading it, but it proves the quality of the product for sure. Update, 6 months in: I cannot tell you how much this thing has saved my sanity. I don't have a mountain of clothes that never seems to go away anymore. I wash 4-6 pieces of clothing at a time, or one full sized sheet with a few little items. To help keep loads balance in the spin dryer, I've found "folding" them to be the best method. It helps distribute the clothing easily. The hose to attach it to a faucet didn't work for my situation. At first, I was using buckets to fill it. It worked fine and was a quick method, but it was cumbersome. Eventually I just replaced my showerhead with one that has a hose and that has helped so much. I use it so much that I do worry I'm going to kill the motors. But I'm at 6 months of using the machine 4-6 times a week and it's currently still going strong. As an apartment dweller, I've been hand washing for about 8 years, and debating a machine like this for about three of them. A lot of my research made me skeptical, but I finally bit the bullet and decided to try it. I'm mad at myself for waiting so long. It's quiet, lightweight, and easy to use straight out of the box. One of my main concerns was the noise. I have neighbors below me in a century old building. This is generally quiet enough to not be a concern. The spin dryer can be a little noisy, but balancing the load or even just putting pressure on it until it gets up to full speed seems to do the trick. The spin dryer gets the clothes ridiculously dry, much drier than I could ever do hand washing. It gets them as dry as a good normal washing machine. The loads are relatively small, but it's still worth it. Now I'm not dealing with sopping wet clothes, fighting for a shared washing machine, or having to lug all my laundry downstairs to go to a laundromat. Now the only things I will need to use an actual washing machine for are super bulky items, like blankets, rugs, and towels (but even towels could be washed one at a time if you are incredibly desperate). Ultimately, I would HIGHLY recommend this washer if you are an apartment dweller without easy access to laundry machines. It's definitely worth it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Use it all the time, where can I purchase a replacement filter trap the original one is torn now?**
A: I've learned that the lint filter doesn't need to be cleaned after every wash.  The filter is already flimsy, so manipulating it less will help keep away holes in the long run.

**Q: Is this good for bubble hash making?**
A: Not sure about the hash but it works great for washing my Oompa Loompa’s clothes.

**Q: Is it big enough to wash a bed sheet or a bath towel?**
A: I have a queen size bed and 7 large pillows.  I am able to put the bottom sheet, top sheet and all 7 pillowcases in the washer.  The centrifuge is smaller.  I have to dry each sheet separately, then 3 or 4 pillowcases at a time.

**Q: Does it make a lot of noise?**
A: I don't use the spinner on mine so I don't know whether it does. The washing machine makes a minimal amount of noise, it's less loud than a full size washer. If you overload it with clothes it will make a really annoying sound when it struggles to move them. When that happens, I'll take one item out and that solves it (and I try to just make sure I don't overload it).

Just used this today. I put it in the tub and I'm not crazy about the electrical cord at the bottom of the washing machine. So I put a plastc pallet in the tub and then the washer on top of it. I live in and apartment and this is so convenient. There are many of my close that I hang on the shower rod and it is convenient and cost effective. I scraped the idea of hooking the intake hose to the shower hose and filled it just from the shower hose. I couldn't find a fill line marker, but this site will answer all of your questions. So far, pretty happy with my purchase
