I have my phone announce the current time when it is docked so I always know if it is going to charge or not. You get used to that.The big issue is the suction cups. All three started out working fine, but over time the suction cups begin to relax and lose their ability to maintain suction. I have tried using the provided plates and tape but the double-sided tape doesn't hold more than a day or two at best.... and even then, the suction cups fail. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money, good product *by G***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2015* Good quality, charges my phone well, no hassle to fit, it goes in very easy and even fits with my case, motomo aluminum case for z2.Suction cup holds better than any car mount I ever had or seen.It assists adjusts well too but keep in mind you must use in the middle of the wind shield, or else it may be hard to aim the phone at you.Looking at the picture is not very clear but it has a top "lid" to hold your phone in, and it's adjustable, so don't worry about your phone falling out of it while driving, it holds quite wellI'm very happy and recommend it to every one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice Car Dock, But Needs Help... *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2014* Update... (after a year)... I want to like this, but I've had to make modifications along the way. First - The suction cup base died in the first 4 months, so it's better to remove the suction cup mechanism all together and silicone it to the window, where it can be removed and cleaned easily.Second - The adjustable clamp that holds the phone in place has very stiff rubber that doesn't quite hold the phone well enough and needed to be trimmed to keep the phone from falling out. Hopefully the charging contacts will hold out... : /Original Review - I took a chance on this hoping that it would be sufficient. I am really happy with this product so far...I found a nice mounting location and it holds really well, and the power cord is a sufficient length. It holds the Xperia Z2 nicely...No complaints...
