However, the locking sleeves are made of thin metal which I hope to be made of sturdy metal as the remaining of the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for extending trailer safety chains *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020* I have a small utility trailer that requires a 6" drop to be level behind my truck. The drop is a long one so the safety chains don't reach by about 2 inches. These 3" locking stainless steel carabiners are just the thing. They can stay on the truck or just open the clip and put them in the truck when they aren't being used. With 2 the weight rating is sufficient for hauling this particular trailer. They are infinitely better than the chain and D-Rings that he rigged to use the trailer.
