I further doubt that it's 'handmade'. Maybe hand polished but definitely not hand forged or shaped. Maybe that kind of thing matters to you and maybe not. I still think it's a good knife. Quite sharp out of the box with a non-aggressive look that allows me to use it in the office without worrying about frightening the occasional snowflake. The wood scales are quite nice and I really like the liner lock even though it isn't traditional to this design.It's true though that I bought it in large part for the 'handmade damascus steel' description that in hindsight I probably wouldn't buy again at the price I paid for it.
