The adhesive on the front of the words is rather strong. I ordered one of the larger sizes and the ends stuck to each other, and it took about 30 minutes to unstick the paper from itself. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. It’s worth the purchase. Just make sure you do not allow the backing to touch anything except the surface you’re applying it to.

I was so excited to get this to top of my bathroom redecorating but it just would not stick.  I tried and tried and tried and it eventually got stuck to itself and wouldn't come unstuck.  I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this product.  The paper it comes on is more adhesive than the sticker itself.....ugggggghhhhhhhh

Unfortunately, I will be returning the scraps of this projects and getting a refund. The paper came crinkled up and that was my first red flag. Still tried to get it to stick to the wall and it was just not adhesive enough. One corner would stick but the rest of the letter would not. More trouble than it was worth. Once I got part of the letter on and it would just fall off.
