**Q: Building a 1" pvc sugar rocket with an id of 1.049 bt-50 per estes says .95 so delta of .099, should be tight but please confirm it will work?**
A: It should work. They were loose on my rocket using BT-50. I had to add tape to the NC for a tighter fit.

**Q: What is the actual dimensions of the cone.**
A: Estes doesn't provide dimensions. It is designed to fit the BT50 Body Tubes.

**Q: Does this nose cone fit a sch 40 1.25 inch pvc?**
A: No.  NC-50 nose cones have a shoulder diameter of 0.95" and a base diameter of 0.976" to accommodate the wall thickness of BT50 body tubes.  1.25" Schedule 40 PVC pipe has an average inside diameter of 1.364" and an outside diameter of 1.66", so the NC-50 nose cone would fall right through the pipe.

**Q: Description above notes bt-20; you noted bt-50. will this fit estes 1469 rocket?**
A: According to Amazon the item you were asking about was Nose Cone NC-50, which BT-50 is the fit for. Estes 1469 is a rocket starter set with 2 rockets but gives no information as to what tubes or cones they use.
