They work fine. She has macular degeneration and can't see the controls, but she can feel them. I particularly like these because they are easy for me to change the battery ( with a - and + visible) and she can feel the on/off switch. She doesn't wear them at home, but she puts them on to go to church. Not very visible which is a big thing to her.
