There are concerns about what if the rack were knocked over, wouldn't the boards fall off too and that goes for the lock-in metal construction as well. The thickness of the board also gives me concerns about its ability to hold up about ~700 lbs per shelving, but I'm giving my full trust on this product because it says it can do so. Suggested Future Changes: I prefer using knuts, screws, or washers to lock the steel construction in place rather than having to hammer them down to get them to lock into place because I feel as if it there's a safety concern. Wooden boards can as well be somewhat thicker. I also prefer some kind of securing contraption to ensure that the boards don't fall off if the rack does somehow tip over. Overall, these are just a few safety improvements, but other than that, this is a great rack. But if you are going to pay top dollar for a shelving unit that consists of five sheets of thin wood and several pieces of thin steel, that wood should be something more substantial than particle board. However, this is a good shelving unit, and worth a purchase.
