After mixing I find it helps to leave the container inverted to allow the oil to distribute more evenly throughout the butter, which makes stirring it in before each use much easier.This crunchy pecan nut butter takes everything I love about pecan nuts and concentrates it in to something I can spread on bread, spoon in to my porridge, or just eat straight out of the jar. It's sweet at first, but has a bitter, roasty, earthy aftertaste that coats your palate and lingers for quite a while after it's gone. There's also no shortage of pecan chunks of varying sizes throughout. The sensory experience of crunching up a spoonful of this is my personal definition of "naughty but nice".Pecan nut butter is one of the most calorie dense nut butters on account of the fat content (it does goes without saying that all nut butters are high in fat), and that lends it an incredible richness that means you only need a small amount of it to really appreciate how good it is.
