I can't eat anything with onion, garlic, or about anything else that tastes good.; the list is long. But what I've missed even more than the food is having a cup of coffee in the morning. I have tried many of the low-acid coffees on the market, including those that you make at home home overnight. Unfortunately, they would still give me reflux. So frustrating. I thought I would give this one a try and I am giving it an enormous thumb's up. This is a life-changer for me (well that's a little dramatic but it's made me so happy.) There is no acid in this; you can even drink it black without tasting any bitterness. It comes in both caffeinated and decaf so if you have a problem with caffeine, you have the decaf option. (type of water they recommend & reviews report problems using purified h2o.)** A: hi Jean, yes you can use spring water. here are the drawbacks with that . spring water as you know has a taste this may effect the taste of the coffee. also some of the minerals in the water will also effect the life of your coffee maker . that why distillata water is is recommended. but they haved filters you can use to catch the minerals in the water. my daughter worked for a water company so i got lots of info and if your spring water is in a bottle that may or may not say what is in it. i use distillata water in the coffee maker because i am lazy and dont want to buy filters. but i drink almost all waters. except tap cause are tap is to high in calcium . hope this info helps **Q: My order had the coffee pods not in their own box, just thrown in a shipping box.
