It was brilliant. First off, it it compact, fitting easily in a rucksack. Coming across a photo opportunity, we could get it set up in seconds. The clicker it comes with connected with my iPhone easily, and can be used to start and stop photos and videos depending on the camera mode you set up. I didn't use it much as a selfie stick, although it felt stable enough to hold and take a selfie. Standing up, it felt stable, even on slightly uneven ground - if you push or knock it then it could fall, although I guess the manufacturer has balanced being lightweight and sturdy. I felt like we were able to take great photos because of how stable my phone was held, and the holder can fit various phone sizes.
