My only complaint is that the black fabric used seems really cheap. I'm not sure if this is for all fabric designs or just the diamond pattern, but if it's just a diamond pattern with this microfiber I would recommend paying $40 for a different design. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Safe, but large *by B***A on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 8, 2015* I use this in my 2011 Toyota 4Runner and my daughter uses it in her Honda Element. I have it in the back on the passenger side so that I can load & unload my grandson from the sidewalk, not the street. In the 4Runner it creates a large blind spot. It does leave more room for the front seat to move further back than the Britax B-Safe base and infant seat. Federal recommendations are to keep children rear-facing until the age of two. At one year old, my grandson's feet are hitting the back of the seat, with no room to grow. It seems like the only way a rear-facing car seat would work is if the back seat reclined away from the child's feet -- then it seems like it could be front-facing with the same safety results. We bought the prior G4 for my first son after he had grown out of his infant seat, and upon hearing of the second rushed out to get this one.Pros:1. Unparalled protection2. The straps are super easy to use, glide smoothly and adjust with ease3. The shoulder pads do not interfere with the straps pathway (we had a significant problem with this with our Chicco Nextfit, hence why we chose a second Britax over the Chicco)4. The kiddos are extremely comfortable in these... they are asleep within moments of driving anywhere5. Easy installation for latch or seatbelt6. My oldest son is tall and skinny and my youngest is tall and husky, this seat fits both of them wellCons:1. The newer model has a shorter crotch strap than the prior model.2 This seat is heavy. If you must move between vehicles often be prepared to get some muscles, or buy a lighter seat. this seat is also heavier than the prior version and I am not sure why they did that3. Even if the line is perfectly level with the ground (I check with a bubble level) the angle may be to upright for young babies.
