The answer is - there is definitely a difference, and, in my opinion, this particular product is better tasting than traditional brands. I like the tenderness, the excellent sauce, and the savory flavor. The balance between the beans and the sauce is virtually perfect. The beans are rich with flavor and are just so tender and satisfying. Excellent freshness, flavor, texture, and balance - that’s quality and value!

I really enjoyed these beans. they were delicious and a good price. The sugar content was not unreasonable but a little high for my taste at 11g of added sugar. Protein content is decent, but just 6g from a serving size of 130g. Oh, and 0g fat!
