It allows my 2yo granddaughter to have a fun ride w/o running into a bunch of stuff. She rarely uses the button to control it herself, but we've only had it a couple weeks and she's 2. It turns off after 10 minutes of no use to save the battery. Cons: you can't turn off the music or lower the volume. Customizations: I built a back rest for her for more protection when it goes back and forth and side to side. Im going to redo the outline of the backrest to go down the sides as soon as I get another red pool noodle. I also used zip ties to add a magnetic phone holder to the top of the steering wheel.
