I set the cover up alone leaving the bug net in my pack, and left a drop cloth down. After several hours of hard almost sideways rain it looked like it held up. After getting in to see the dryness overall it was okay. All four of the outside shell toggles leak. So you know when buying this that you should get a 5 dollar tube of seam sealer just for the toggles.
